Anna Sarkisian: Take Two.

I shot with a friend today, who many of you have seen before in my work, Anna Sarkisian (as seen in the header above). Recently her and I have been able to hang out a little more and now I am planning on some really fun work involving her. There is another shot on my flickr so go check it out. April 18th and 19th (Yesterday and Today)

Yesterday I worked with Marc and Zack Arias on a Indian Wedding in Stone Mountain National Park. It was a really amazing experience, pretty long, but extremely worth it. Indian weddings are really great and enjoyable. There almost is always something to shoot that makes for a good photo. I am stoked to see what Marc and Zack came out with.


I watched part of Zack's One Light Workshop last night. I was beyond tired to really pay any attention, but I am stoked to really get into it. I'm really looking forward to studying up and getting solid with lighting. Zack is not only an awesome photographer but a sick dude as well. He is a very helpful guy so I suggest to also check out his work on his websites; Used Film, Zack Arias, and Blog.

I am at the Bridal Show with Marc at the Westin right now. The turn out is ok, but not was claimed to be expected. I'm so tired I can barely see straight right now. I'm hoping Marc can get a few weddings off this show. In no offense towards any other wedding photographers, but Marc's work is some of THE best I have seen, whether it be at these Bridal Shows or just around the internet or magazines. If you view all of his work, it's so consistent, so well seen, and so well lit. Plus he does not have to spend hours in PS to make them look good or interesting.

Tea Party Protest.

Yesterday, April 15th, 2009 was the first official Anti-Tax Tea Party. People gathered to protest the government's overspending and unconstitutional acts. I unfortunately had arrived late and had to leave earlier than expected, but what I saw was truly inspiring. There were people of all ages, from children to elderly, all races, different political parties, and more. It was great to see over 20,000 people come out to support something together. I will be posting more photos on the flickr soon.

Easter/Resurrection Day.

This Easter was an amazing one. I was very happy to just be with my family at my home with incredible weather. I wasn't just happy, but completely filled with joy. My nephew brings me to life more than I can say. I forget all the stupid things I worry about when he is here. Spending time with him, my sis and bro-in-law, and watching them grow as a family is mind blowing. He's one of the best things that has ever happened to our family. My parents want more lil' ones so yeah, I'll find that Beauty and hopefully beget a beauty like this son.

Wedding Shoot With Marc Climie.

I came down to St. Simons Island/Jekyll Island to help Marc Climie with a wedding. It has been a great experience. As all weddings are, it was a long day, but I learned a bunch and even got to shoot around the last half of the Reception. This place is beautiful and since I am staying an extra night tonight, I am going to spend the day tomorrow shooting a little and maybe even get some beach time in. Ashley Langford was Marc's second photographer for the wedding and the dude is one sick photographer. It was great to meet another great photographer and person. I learned a lot today. I'm stoked to see how their photos come out and hope I can snatch some good ones before I head out tomorrow. If you are in the area or know someone who wouldn't mind modeling. Let me know cause I would love to fit a person in on this.
